Meet the amazing women & men that are a part of our team on the ground at Mercy Village.
RIN YAME
Founder & Pastor
Rin is Pastor to Mercy Village Church along with other two others, Pastor Samphann and Pastor Sokha. He is also teaches khmer, music and art. He is full time missionary to his own people that the Lord has called him to step out by faith in early 2018.

ANDREA STOUT
School Principal, Teacher, Nurse & Church Administrator
Andrea has been with Mercy Village since December of 2018, and is our full time volunteer missionary from Florida. She is our School Principle as well as our nurse, English and Ballet teacher and our church accountant. We all are very blessed to have Andrea here with us. She's been an incredible blessing to our entire community, especially the children.
SAN PHANITH
Assistant & Teacher
Pastor Rin has know Phanith since 2005 when he and his brother San Piseth were in the local orphanage. Their parents have been separated since they were little boys. Their father died in Thailand where he was working and their mom ran away in 2000. Phanith for the past 6 years is now working full time at Mercy Village as Rin Yame’s assistant. He’s also is a Khmer teacher, supervisor and helps to teach boys how to cook.
MAO PHOLY
Sewing, Cook, & Assistant
Pholy started working at Mercy Village as a part time staff member in 2018, teaching sewing to mothers in the community. Now since 2020 she has moved into a full time role. She is assisting teacher Andrea by helping to supervise the children at school. She is also our main cook and she helps to take patients to the hospital when needed.
TET ROTANA
Teacher
Rotana has been with us now as a full time staff member since 2022. He is a teacher and helper along with his wife Mao Pholy. The Lord has blessed a wonderful son named Hero.
LENG ROTHA
Music and Khmer Teacher
Leng Rotha is our full time teacher. He loves the Lord and love sharing God's wonderful gifts to the kids.
He has been serving and
teaching the children since 2019.
He teaches music and help the kids
to able to read and write.
Roth Chan (Vichet)
Art & Khmer Teacher
The Lord’s love for all He cares and knows all our needs for His love for you never end. He loves you no matter what. Vichet is our new teacher. He lives in the orphanage since he’s a baby. Never seen his parents. He grew up in the orphanage, he is disabled and also has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The Lord has been healing him a long way. He is a very good artist. He has able to use his left hand to paint . Really captured our hearts. Last three weeks, he came and told us as he has been looking for a job for several years but people looked down on him due to his looking. He told one of elders here at Mercy Village. He wanted to come and help teaching so that he can have rice to eat. I saw his faithful that he kept coming to join Bible study. One night the Lord told me to talk to him and asked him the whole story. God has placed in my heart strongly to help this young man. When I see his paintings my heart just jumped up and give all praises to our Lord JESUS. I really love his heart for JESUS. He’s now one of Mercy Village staff. He is khmer and art teacher to the kids. He can eat with us every day. Now he is renting a place near by. He has a beautiful spirit. Vichet with some of his paintings.
SAN PISITH
Khmer Teacher & Handyman
Pisith and his wife Marina have just recently come to work with us at Mercy Village. He is teaching khmer and also working on site as a handyman, helping to repair things.
LENG MARINA
Office Manager & Khmer Teacher
Marina is our office manager as well as a khmer teacher. She is married to Pisith and the Lord has blessed them with a beautiful baby daughter, MoMo. We are so blessed to see each couple serve the Lord wholeheartedly. They all love the Lord and love their work for the Lord!
CHENGOUN LYHOUR
Helper
Lyhour is a young teenager girl who is living with her grandma in the community. She loves to serve and help teach the little ones how to read and write Khmer. She also loves teaching them how to sing and praise the Lord. She helps when we clean & wash the children’s hair for lice too.
HING SEANG HAI
Saxophone Teacher
Hing Seang Hai is our part time teacher.
He teaches Saxophone lesson and Music
Theory each day. He is a good Christian
brother. He has been teaching here since
2022.
